Fishing in the Florida Keys

Cobia can be caught year round but are more abundant November through June.  They can be found in the bay around any structure and oceanside on the edge of the reef.

Cobia will tend to come to the boat when you are chumming.  You will see them on the surface of the water behind the boat.  Always have a live bait ready on a pitch rod to site cast to them. Then hold on!

Excellent food value.
